The Shepherd Who Calls You by Name
My dear son,
I do not treat you as a nameless person passing by. As a shepherd calls each sheep by name and leads the way, Jesus tenderly guides those who know him. Take time to listen for the voice you are learning to recognize.
You do not have to follow every loud voice or urgent demand. Keep Jesus' words and actions close as you learn which paths are truthful and life-giving. Familiarity grows through time spent together.
I am glad you have come this morning wanting to know me. You may listen awhile without settling every question. Receive the love that calls you precious. I want to walk near you and keep our conversation going.
