The good you can do today
Proverbs encourages us to help our neighbors when we have the means to do so, rather than keep sending them away until tomorrow. Begin with the time and strength you have, and the needs of the people beside you. A useful piece of information or a few minutes of attentive listening can be a real act of kindness.
In the morning, choose one practical way to help. In the evening, reflect on the kindness you gave and received. Being honest about what you can offer also helps build trust.
