A Blessing for Those Who Have Little

My dear son,

I am not a Father who welcomes people according to how comfortable their lives are. Jesus looked at poor, hungry, and weeping disciples and announced the blessing of my kingdom. Having less does not mean anyone must stand at the back.

Even your need for a meal matters to me. Do not be ashamed to ask for help when you need it. When you have enough to share, keep your heart open to the needs of your neighbors too.

Do not put a price on your worth today. Look toward my kingdom and treat each other as precious. I want you to begin this day knowing that you are my loved child.

With all my love,
Your Father
