Bring Your Choices into Prayer

My dear son,

As the day begins, will you tell me what is on your mind? I want to hear what you hope to do and how you hope to meet the people around you. Your honest words matter more than an impressive prayer.

Before Jesus chose the twelve, he spent the night praying to me on a mountain. He shared that time of choosing and calling people with me. You can come close to me before making your choices too.

You may take enough time to listen and consider before deciding. Let us think about what is honest and what helps people flourish. Begin this morning by putting love into even one small decision.

With all my love,
Your Father
