The Joy of Finding Treasure
My dear son,
Receive my word with the happiness of someone discovering great treasure. My teaching is a precious gift that helps you know how to live. You can cherish it close to your heart and use it in ordinary choices.
When another person's power seems imposing, keep hold of what is true. Ask me for a heart that rejects deceit and loves justice. I treasure your desire to live by that faithful standard.
If reading my word brings you joy today, sing your praise aloud. You are welcome to return with thanks many times in a day. May you guard my teaching as carefully as treasure and enjoy the honest life it helps you live.
