A Necklace for Your Heart

My dear son,

Carry kindness and truth together in your heart today. As you keep a treasured necklace close, keep love for people and an honest way of living close to you. They bring a lasting beauty to your life.

You can be kind while staying truthful, and speak what is right with warmth. Ask me for the wisdom to express your honest heart gently. Love written within you can become visible in even a brief conversation.

As you prepare for the day, value the people you will meet. Consider the heart you bring to them before worrying about how they will evaluate you. I delight in seeing you grow trustworthy before me and among other people.
