Choosing Where to Place Your Hope
My dear son,
I, who made heaven, earth, and sea, am your help. You do not have to live today with only the strength you can muster yourself. Entrust your hope to me, the one who remains faithful forever.
Receive another person's help with thanks, and talk with me as you consider the future. Value what is honest and dependable beyond a promise that sounds impressive in the moment. Faithfulness is how I care for you.
Tell me freely what you hope for today. You can trust me on a road you do not yet fully understand. Welcome the morning knowing that the hands which made the world are also caring tenderly for your life.
With all my love,
Your Father
