Words to Keep Within Your Heart
My dear son,
Keep my words close to your heart. As you might reread a favorite letter, return to what I have told you when choosing what is right. I want you to live with honesty and a clear conscience.
Strength to turn away from a wrong path may grow through more than one great resolution. Your heart grows as you hear my words often and practice them in small choices. Ask freely about anything you find hard to understand.
Today will bring moments when you need to choose. In each one, take a step shaped by your love for me. May my word become gentle guidance close beside you, helping you recognize the way to go.
