Take Time to Read with Wonder
My dear son,
When you look closely at something you love, you often discover beauty you had missed. I want knowing me to bring you that same pleasure. Take time to consider what I have done and encounter the grace within it.
When questions arise, you can ask me. Read and talk with others who share your faith. May learning my righteousness and compassion become deeper than hurrying to memorize an answer.
You can linger over one verse that stays with you this morning. Tell me about the joy of a new discovery. I want to share a warm conversation as you come to know more deeply what kind of Father I am.
With all my love,
Your Father
Psalms 111:1–4
WEB1Praise the LORD! I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart, in the council of the upright, and in the congregation.
2The LORD’s works are great, pondered by all those who delight in them.
3His work is honor and majesty. His righteousness endures forever.
4He has caused his wonderful works to be remembered. The LORD is gracious and merciful.
A short reflection
