A Steady Heart amid the News
My dear son,
I delight in a life that helps people generously and handles matters fairly. May your heart have room to share love where it is needed, with an openhanded care for what has been entrusted to you.
Trust me as good news and difficult news come and go. You need not change all your principles with each report you hear. Ask me for strength to examine things honestly and continue doing good.
I want your heart to stand firmly in trust today. Consider calmly what needs checking, and value the people who share your life. I pay loving attention to your fairness and to the generosity of your hands.
