A Prayer for the Work of Your Hands
My dear son,
May my love fill your heart this morning. Before the day's work begins, enjoy the simple comfort of having a Father who loves you. Your heart is precious to me before you complete a single task.
Tell me about the work you will do with your hands. Ask for wisdom to build something good that lasts and to carry your responsibilities well. I want your efforts to nurture life and help people flourish.
Notice small joys while you work. When you need rest, let your body rest, and share gratitude with those who labor beside you. I will hold the hands with which you begin this day in love.
