Rain on Dry Ground

My dear son,

When rain soaks into dry ground, the life there begins to grow again. I am the God who gives my people a place to live and attends to what the poor need. Your lives are close to my heart.

When you enjoy abundance, remember the neighbor who is asking for necessities. Hands that have received my care can become kind hands toward another person. What you share might be food, time, or thoughtful attention.

Offer love today within the circumstances you have. If you need help, you can ask openly, too. As rain-soaked ground sustains life, may generous concern for one another grow among you.

With all my love,
Your Father
