A Song in Today's Voice

My dear son,

I want to hear your voice this morning. Many voices lifted together in praise bring me joy, like strings sounding together, and a single line you sing quietly is just as welcome to my ears.

Even a familiar song can sound new when it carries today's gratitude. Let me hear the heart that delights in the love it has received. You do not need to embellish your song to impress me; enjoy me with an honest heart.

You can hum a hymn as you get ready for the day. Where there is no music, come with a simple word of thanks. I want joy to run through your day. I want to share your song.

With all my love,
Your Father
