Courage While You Wait

My dear son,

When a season of waiting comes, remember the kind of Father I am. I care for those who are faithful and treasure the heart that seeks me humbly. I want you to love me and depend on me.

Everything does not have to be decided before you can live today. Even while you wait, there is honest work to do and goodness to enjoy. You may give your attention to the day you have been given.

Tell me when you feel impatient. Ask for the strength and courage you need. Let us take today's good steps together. Trust the hand that cares for you, and move forward with a patient heart.
