What the Morning Sky Tells

My dear son,

Will you look up at the sky this morning? As night passes and light spreads, the world I made keeps revealing the work of my hands. I want you to enjoy its beauty with me.

The heavens show my glory without needing a loud voice. Your day belongs within that unfolding scene, as one day follows another and night follows night. You, too, are someone I cherish in this world.

Between the things you need to do, you can lift your eyes for a moment. I want you to have room to welcome even the color of a cloud. Receive this day as a gift, and greet it gladly with me.

With all my love,
Your Father
