Caring Gladly for Your Portion
My dear son,
When you count what you have, remember that I am your portion, too. The things you acquire in this world may change, but the joy of life with me is a gift whose worth no comparison can determine.
Look with care at the life entrusted to you. Ask me for what you still need, and notice what you have already received. Among the people beside you and the responsibilities you tend, let us look for reasons to give thanks.
Care kindly for what is within your reach today. You can smile before you know your entire future. I want to share this day with you as you trust me and enjoy the life before you.
With all my love,
Your Father
