The First Place Your Heart Can Turn
My dear son,
Let us talk this morning about where your heart is turning. I want to be close to you in ordinary life, the Father who shares your happiness, as well as the Lord you call upon when you urgently need help.
Come near and call me your Lord. When you enjoy something good, let us celebrate the gift together; when you need protection, take refuge in me. I want you to discover life's deep happiness beside me.
Even an ordinary morning can be ours to share. Tell me what you hope for, then begin your work. There is no need to wait for a special day. Live this day with me.

The psalmist asks God for protection, takes refuge in him, and confesses that apart from the Lord there is no true good.
