Entering Through Grace
My dear son,
You do not need to begin with a list of your good deeds when you come to me. It is my great mercy that welcomes you into my house. Draw near this morning with a heart that honors me.
I want you to walk an upright path. Let us consider your choices together so that the search for an advantage does not cost you your honesty. Your desire to ask what pleases me is precious to me.
Tell me your plans before you begin today's work. When you see something to learn, learn it; when something needs correcting, correct it. Walk with confidence and humility in the grace that has already welcomed you.
With all my love,
Your Father
Psalms 5:7–8
WEB7But as for me, in the abundance of your loving kindness I will come into your house. I will bow toward your holy temple in reverence of you.
8Lead me, LORD, in your righteousness because of my enemies. Make your way straight before my face.
A short reflection
