Take Time to Rest
My dear son,
Leave time in today's schedule to eat and rest comfortably. Someone who cares for others also needs care. Your Father does not measure the depth of love by how long you can keep moving without a break.
As Jesus called his busy disciples away to a quiet place, step aside when you need to catch your breath. Notice what your body is telling you. Talk with someone who can share the responsibilities in your care.
A pause does not erase the work you have done. Receive rest gratefully and let it renew your strength to love. Your Father values you both when you are working and when you are resting.

A short reflection
Jesus invites the disciples to withdraw to a quiet place and rest because their work has left them no time even to eat.
