The Gift of This Day

I want to share your joy as this new morning begins. Like the people who sang together about the salvation I had brought, welcome this day in my presence. It is more than another date to pass through.

When something delights you, let yourself laugh. If you think of someone you appreciate, tell them. Enjoy the good moments instead of hurrying past them. Your Father wants to hear about the joy you find.

There is no need to postpone gratitude and happiness until everything is perfect. Live the hours ahead remembering the grace I have given. A day with room to laugh together and give thanks is a precious gift.
