Mercy New Every Morning
My dear son,
As night gives way to morning, you can begin another day within my mercy. Coming to me yesterday has not left me with less love to give you today. My compassion does not run out.
Come with a joyful heart, or sit quietly if words are hard to find. You do not have to arrange your feelings into something presentable before I welcome you. You may be yourself with your Father.
Receive this promise today: my mercy is new every morning. You do not have to erase yesterday before you can live a new day. Trust the Father whose faithfulness toward you does not change, and step into the day you have been given.
With all my love,
Your Father
