Tell Me First
My dear son,
Will you share your first thoughts of the day with your Father? Tell me what came to mind when you woke up or what you hope for in the hours ahead. You can use your own words without a polished prayer.
Do not put your heart aside while you search for impressive language. Say you are grateful when you are grateful, and say you do not know when you are uncertain. This time spent sharing your life with me is precious.
After telling me your concerns, leave room to wait for my will. Instead of rushing to settle on your own answer, open the day by listening to my word. Your Father hears your morning prayer.
With all my love,
Your Father
Psalms 5:3
WEB3LORD, in the morning you will hear my voice. In the morning I will lay my requests before you, and will watch expectantly.
