A Table Set by Faith

My dear son,

I would love for the joy of believing in me to show in your hands. The jailer washed Paul and Silas's wounds, received baptism, and gladly set food before them. He turned the joy of faith into practical care for people nearby.

You, too, can share the love needed now without searching for a grand expression. Ordinary actions such as offering a meal or making room for someone can carry my love. There is no need to overlook their value.

If you enjoyed something this evening, let us be glad together. If someone can share that happiness, welcome them warmly. I want to see your faith in me bring greater tenderness into the way you live with people.

With all my love,
Your Father
