Coming Back to Pray Together

My dear son,

Having people you can return to and open your heart with is a gift. After their release, Peter and John went back to their companions and told them what had happened. People who called on me together were there to welcome them.

I want relationships to grow in your life where you can share both good news and difficult circumstances. You do not always need to sort everything out alone before speaking. You may entrust your story to people you can trust.

I am the Father who made heaven, earth, and sea. I treasure the time you spend turning toward me in prayer together. Entrust the people beside you to me tonight, and enjoy the kindness of caring for one another.

After their release, Peter and John report the leaders' words to their companions. The community then prays together to God, the maker of all things.
