I enjoy the time when you honor me and listen to my words. A humble willingness to learn does not erase your worth. It means there is still much joy waiting for you in what you can discover.

Instead of rushing to raise your own standing, seek the wisdom to live rightly. Honor me and gladly receive what others can teach you. There is beauty in honest acknowledgment and sincere thanks.

Tell me this evening about advice you appreciated. I welcome you when you openly ask about what you do not know. As your Father, I am glad to watch my child grow while treating other people with respect. Keep room in your heart for that growth.
