The Joy of Sharing a Humble Heart

My dear son,

I love the way you notice the effort of those who have worked beside you. As you celebrate something good, remember gladly the hands that helped. Sharing thanks can make your happiness deeper.

Sharing your heart with humble people is better than joining the arrogant to gain a higher place. Pride brings people down, while a willingness to learn helps them honor one another. I hope you find friends who live that way.

Tonight, give thanks for the good people near you. Be a friend who shares credit and listens to advice. As your Father, I want you to enjoy tending relationships in which you both love and are loved.

With all my love,
Your Father
