Room in Your Heart to Ask for Comfort

My dear son,

It makes me glad that you love my words and keep them near. I treasure the way you ask questions and cultivate what you learn in your life. Along that path, willingly receive my love yourself too.

Loving my teaching does not require you to spend every moment caring for everyone else. Call me when you need comfort and compassion. I am not a Father whose love is measured by how much you give away.

This evening, look tenderly at yourself as someone who may receive help. Give your body the rest it needs and tell me what is in your heart. Lean comfortably into my love and let it remain beside you.

With all my love,
Your Father
