Looking Again at the Rejected Stone

Your first impression of someone does not always reveal the whole person. I want to give you room to look more carefully and kindly. There can be great worth in what others simply pass by.

I made the stone the builders rejected into the cornerstone. Human judgments cannot contain everything I intend. Please do not close the story of your own life or your neighbor's life because of a single assessment.

If you discovered something good today that you had not noticed before, let us rejoice together. Approach people remembering that you are still getting to know them. I want an open gaze and a gentle heart to keep growing in you.
