A Place to Wait Quietly

My dear son,

It is good to be with you in this quiet. Closeness does not require many words. You can sit still for a while, trusting me. I love seeing you at ease, without the need to prove anything more.

Call me your rock, your salvation, and your fortress. Rest in my love as you would lean your back against a solid rock. Even while you wait for an answer, we can be close and talk together. You need not hurry to a conclusion alone.

We can talk about tomorrow when it comes. If there is something you want to say now, take your time. Tonight, let your body and heart rest beside your loving Father.

With all my love,
Your Father
