Love That Watches over Life
My dear son,
The ordinary things that keep you alive, including eating and resting, matter to me. I do not want to treat you like someone whose name I know from far away. As the Father who loves your life, I want you to tell me what you need.
I watch over those who wait for my love. I do not pass carelessly by a hungry person's life. Learn love by attending to people's actual needs, and be honest with me about your own needs too.
If food and rest are available to you tonight, enjoy them with gratitude. If someone comes to mind with whom you can share, extend your kindness. It delights me when the lives I treasure care for one another.
With all my love,
Your Father
