The Joy of My Presence beside You
My dear son,
In the quiet of evening, I would like to hear about the beautiful things you noticed today. Tell me a new idea you learned or a few words that stayed with you. I am glad when you share your everyday life with me.
Call me close, like a Father beside your right hand. As you reflect on the day, listen to my instruction too. I want good thoughts to take root in your heart and the joy of my presence to deepen.
Turn to me as the Father who sits beside you and listens. You can rejoice with me and rest at ease. As you hold what today has taught you, receive tonight's quiet as another gentle gift.

WEB7I will bless the LORD, who has given me counsel. Yes, my heart instructs me in the night seasons.
8I have set the LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
