Faith Can Ask for Help, Too
My dear son,
You can come to me with both a desire to believe and questions you have not settled. Tonight, let your faith be honestly unfinished. Your Father welcomes the heart you actually have.
Your request for help may include the places where belief is difficult. Ask the questions that arise, and feel free to say when you do not know. I value the time when you rely on me enough to be truthful.
Let us talk without spending the whole conversation grading your faith. Begin with a simple request to understand trust more deeply. Tonight, stay comfortably beside the Father who listens with tenderness to what is in your heart.
With all my love,
Your Father
