A Word to Keep Close
My dear son,
Keep my words beside you as you might keep a treasured letter. Take your time receiving a sentence that reaches your heart. I am your Father, and I want to bring you life and comfort through what I say.
In difficult times, may my word accompany you like a faithful friend. Tell me what has stayed with you and what you wonder about. I want to listen gently as you learn to trust me in your everyday life.
Tonight, read one verse you would like to remember. Let us share my love through those words. Keep your Father's comfort close at hand as you finish the day peacefully.
With all my love,
Your Father
