Mercy That Does Not Run Out
My dear son,
The day may be ending, but my love for you is not. As the light fades outside your window, remember that my mercy has not faded with it. I am your Father, and my love remains steady.
My compassion is not an allowance that runs out once you have used it. You can come to me on bright days and difficult ones alike. If there is something you have not finished telling me, share it tonight.
When morning comes, you can begin again resting on my faithfulness. For now, trust that love and sleep. My care reaches through the end of this night and into the new morning.
With all my love,
Your Father
