Even With a Trembling Heart
My dear son,
Do not think you must remove every fear before coming to me. The very moment you are afraid is a time to call your Father. Tell me exactly how you feel, and lean on me there.
On days when other people's words seem loud, make room to hear what I have told you. Let my love be known through my own words, too. You are precious to me as the child who places your trust in me.
If tonight is peaceful, receive that peace with gratitude. If fear is present, bring it into your prayer. Your Father welcomes your voice whether it sounds brave or shaky. Finish the day with me.
With all my love,
Your Father
