Learning to Set Down Your Burden

As the day ends, share with me what you are carrying. You do not have to hold every burden alone to demonstrate that you can manage it. Lean on your Father and let me help you.

I am sustaining you. Look calmly at what needs doing, and ask for help with what is too much to handle alone. If entrusting things to me feels unfamiliar and worry returns, tell me again. I will listen again.

Tonight, practice resting after you have placed something in my care. You need not keep watch over everything while you rest. Give your body and mind some room to breathe beside the Father who does not abandon you.
