A Lamp in the Darkness

When a lamp is lit, you can see what is beside you even in a dark room. I want to be that light in your life. Open your heart tonight and spend a little time with me.

When the direction ahead is unclear, you need not stand there relying only on your own thoughts. Read my word and ask for wisdom. The light you need does not have to come entirely from within you.

If you recognized something true today, keep it close like a lamp. Share the light you have received through a kind word to a neighbor. Now end this night peacefully, trusting your Father's light.
