Hope in the One Who Makes All Things New
My dear son,
I am your God, the beginning and the end. Hold close my promise to make all things new. I want to give you living hope so that what you see today does not become the limit of what you believe is possible.
Receive gratefully the grace that freely gives living water to the thirsty. Rely on the Father who calls you his child and promises a shared future. You can trust my faithful word even before you can see everything.
Choose the small act of love before you this morning. Speak honestly and honor people today. May joy in me remain with your steps as you await the day when I make all things new.
With all my love,
Your Father
Revelation 21:5–7
WEB5He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” He said, “Write, for these words of God are faithful and true.”
6He said to me, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give freely to him who is thirsty from the spring of the water of life.
7He who overcomes, I will give him these things. I will be his God, and he will be my son.
A short reflection
In John's vision of new creation, God enthroned promises to make everything new and, as the beginning and end, offers living water and an inheritance as his children.
