Gifts from the Father of Lights
My dear son,
Good gifts come from me, the Father who made the morning light. When you meet something welcome today, enjoy it fully. I am not a Father who changes his care for you like a shifting shadow. My goodness remains steady.
My purpose in giving you life through the word of truth reaches deep. You do not need to measure that love only by the strength of today's feelings. You may come close with a quiet heart too.
Name the good things you discover, whether a satisfying meal or a kind word. A brief thank-you is welcome. Enjoy your day without arranging your expression, and gradually come to know my goodness.
