With Your Heart, Mind, and Strength
My dear son,
Tell me where you want to place your heart, thought, and strength today. I want to be a Father who walks close to you throughout life, someone you remember within its ordinary hours. I gladly receive the love you offer.
Your love for me does not have to remain in grand statements. You can ask my will when making a choice, give thanks for what you receive, and deal honestly with people. Your heart can be present in each of these.
Begin this morning relying on me, the one God. Tell me what you look forward to and what you intend to do faithfully. I want a lasting conversation within your ordinary time.
With all my love,
Your Father
