Worship Lived through Your Body

My dear son,

Share the whole of this day with me. Worship includes the response you live through your body as well as the songs on your lips. Your work and the words you speak to people can carry my love.

I do not want you to wear your body down carelessly. Value the food and rest that restore your strength. Receive my mercy with gratitude, then use the strength you have thoughtfully for what is good. Your body deserves care within that offering.

Tell me about your time and plans this morning. Even ordinary tasks can become an honest, gentle response to me. I gladly receive a life that becomes worship through gratitude.
