Faith at Work through Love
My dear son,
If you want to show what faith looks like, offer love to someone close by today. I value faith becoming active in kindness more than outward badges of belonging. Even a small gesture can carry that living trust.
Do not keep people at a distance while comparing who looks more impressive. Depend on the Spirit and hold the hope for which you wait. Within that hope, you can respect one another and gladly share needed work.
Consider one kindness within your reach this morning. Listen to someone fully, or put a shared space in order. I delight when your faith takes the practical form of caring for a person before you.
With all my love,
Your Father
Galatians 5:5–6
WEB5For we through the Spirit, by faith wait for the hope of righteousness.
6For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision amounts to anything, but faith working through love.
A short reflection
Paul teaches that what matters is faith working through love, while believers depend on the Spirit as they await the hope of righteousness.
