The Father's Good Gift

My dear son,

Think of a parent's desire to give good things to a child. I am a Father who cares about what is good for you. When you bring me a request, you do not need to wonder whether you are a nuisance.

Jesus said the heavenly Father gives the Holy Spirit to those who ask. Do not try to manufacture all the wisdom and love you need by yourself. Ask for the Spirit's help in knowing my will and living with me.

This morning, ask me to help you love the people you meet and recognize what is right. Tell me your needs and your joys. I want you to come close in trust.
