Keep Asking, Seeking, and Knocking
My dear son,
Tell me what you need. Jesus invited people to ask, seek, and knock. I do not want you to turn away from the door without speaking. You are welcome to approach me; it need not be a difficult ceremony.
Share both what you desire and what you still do not understand. We can keep talking while you wait for an answer. Every prayer does not have to end with a polished declaration of certainty.
I am glad to hear your voice this morning. There is time even while you search for your opening words. Simply call me Father, without a long explanation. Here there is room for your requests and your remaining questions.
With all my love,
Your Father
Luke 11:9–10
