Ask the Lord of the Harvest
My dear son,
Imagine standing alone before a field ready for harvest. The task could seem overwhelming. Jesus told his disciples to ask me for more workers. I am not asking you to carry every responsibility by yourself.
Pray for people who can share the work, and value each person's contribution. Doing good can involve real difficulty. There is no shame in asking for the wisdom and companionship you need along the way.
Do your own part faithfully today without clutching everyone else's part as well. Thank someone who works beside you. Enjoy the gladness of helping each other, and lean on me as you walk. Shared service is a gift you can receive.
With all my love,
Your Father
