The Courage to Open the Door to Learning
My dear son,
I want you to enjoy learning something new. Learning includes both encouragement and discovering what needs correction. Make room to consider truthful advice along with the words that are comfortable to hear.
Being shown a mistake does not make you any less precious. Take time to understand what would help you change. Asking questions, understanding, and then making an actual correction can give your life greater depth and steadiness.
If advice comes today, hear it through before rushing to defend yourself. Tell me what stays with you afterward. As a Father who cares for you, I want you to learn in a way that honors your dignity and helps you grow with joy.
With all my love,
Your Father
Proverbs 12:1
WEB1Whoever loves correction loves knowledge, but he who hates reproof is stupid.
A short reflection
