Standing Beside a Quiet Voice
My dear son,
The rights of oppressed people matter deeply to me. I hear quiet voices and look beyond the accounts of those with power. I want you to practice the justice I love in the places close to you.
As I made my ways known to Moses and the people, keep learning what is on my heart. If someone has not had a chance to speak, hear their story. If something has been misrepresented, look carefully for the truth.
Use even a little authority to honor people today. You do not need to solve everything alone. Begin with treating the person before you fairly. I delight in that honest desire to do what is right.
With all my love,
Your Father
