Ask the Hands That Made You

My dear son,

My hands made you and formed the person you are. What you learn and how you live matter to me. When there is something you do not know, draw near and ask for a heart that understands.

Your hope in my word can bring joy to people around you. Let the love you have learned take honest shape in your life, beyond any desire to display how much you know. Others can rejoice in that growth with you.

Ask your questions freely today, and value another person's explanation. Share what you know kindly, too. As the Father who made you, I delight in the beautiful growth of your heart and mind.

With all my love,
Your Father

A short reflection
