Looking Beside the Springs

My dear son,

Greet the morning as though we were walking beside a spring flowing between the hills. Where wild donkeys drink and birds sing among the leaves, my care is present. There is beauty there for us to enjoy.

My care reaches small lives as well as large, visible things. I provide water to drink and places to rest. You, too, are a precious life receiving that love. Look kindly on the other living creatures beside you.

When you take a sip of water today, enjoy the gift slowly. Care for the water and spaces you share. I want to enjoy with you the beauty of living things making room for one another.

With all my love,
Your Father
