Walking in the Light of Life
My dear son,
Treasure the hours in which your feet stand on this earth and you are alive. Walking with me in the light of life is a precious gift. Look for the love that cares for you within an ordinary day.
If you remember something that makes you thankful, tell me about it. Like the one who sang of being rescued, you can hold the help you have received in your heart. Gratitude can make today's living more attentive and generous.
Keep faithfully any promise you want to honor before me. I gladly receive even a small, sincere expression of thanks. As we walk today, I want you to enjoy the precious gift of being alive.
With all my love,
Your Father
Psalms 56:12–13
WEB12Your vows are on me, God. I will give thank offerings to you.
13For you have delivered my soul from death, and prevented my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living.
A short reflection
